Apply for a Grant

Prior to submitting your full, formal application, we ask potential applicants to submit a letter of inquiry setting forth the purposes and background of the requesting organization and outlining the project goals, strategies, and costs. Before sending this letter, ensure you have read and understand all of the grant application guidelines and requirements. All letters will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and you will then be informed by the Board as to whether you should submit your full application for consideration.

If you are a recent grant recipient you do not need to submit a letter of inquiry, please use the Application for Repeat Grantees.

If you are invited to apply, the next steps are:

  1. Review: You should take the time to review and make sure you understand all of the guidelines and requirements.
  2. Complete and Submit: Make sure to complete all information and documentation as outlined in the submission guidelines.
  3. Notification: You’ll be notified, usually, within two (2) weeks after completion of the scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors to review applications.
  4. Awards: Grants may contain detailed conditions which must be reviewed by and agreed upon by all parties.

Grant applications must be received by September 1.
